ANNE FRIEDMAN
KGM Architectural Lighting (KGM) is proud to announce the promotion of Anne Friedman to Associate. Anne holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from University of Southern California and earned her Bachelors of Architecture at Tongil University, she is Lighting Certified by NCQLP, (LC). Since 2012, Anne has been an enthusiastic Senior Designer at KGM Architectural Lighting. Anne has worked on many award-winning projects and repeatedly proves that her creativity and focus are a huge asset to the design team. Anne is exceptionally skilled at developing and visualizing concepts that reinforce spatial and architecture and goals on a wide variety of project types. Anne’s expertise in BIM technology, as well as her fluency in both Chinese and English, support her ability to efficiently work on projects all around the world. DOROTHY UNDERWOOD
KGM Architectural Lighting (KGM) is proud to announce the promotion of Dorothy Underwood to Associate. Dorothy holds a Masters Degree in Science, Architectural Sciences, Lighting from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelors in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dorothy’s positive attitude and creative approach make her an invaluable addition to the team. In her time at KGM, Dorothy has worked on award winning projects as a key member of the team. She worked in several different related positions before becoming a lighting designer, including interning at architecture firms, and working as an application sciences professional at LAS. These experiences have helped to strengthen her understanding of not just lighting, but the surrounding professions as well. These various lenses of viewing projects are a great asset when collaborating with other consultants and keeping the big picture of each project in mind. Dorothy will be a key speaker at LEDucation and continues to be an advocate for the lighting industry and our clients.
